Description
Quick and easy soft and fluffy dinner rolls ready in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups warm water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper, or lightly grease it.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Allow it to proof for about 2-5 minutes.
- Add the oil, salt, egg, and flour a cup at a time. Mix with the stand mixer until all ingredients are combined. Let the mixer knead the dough for around 4 minutes.
- Spray your hands with baking spray and shape the dough into 15 individual balls.
- Place the dough balls in the prepared baking dish and cover them with a dish towel.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and place the pan on top of the oven to let the dough rise while the oven heats.
- Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the top of the rolls is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and brush the top with melted butter before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with butter, honey, or your favorite jam. Store leftovers in an airtight container or freeze for longer storage.
