Description

Delicious and fun Air Fryer Apple Fries, a healthier snack that is sweet and crunchy, perfect for kids and adults.


Ingredients

  • 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Nonstick cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Peel (optional) and cut the apples into fry-like sticks. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. Set up coating stations: Bowl 1 with flour, Bowl 2 with whisked egg and milk, Bowl 3 with panko breadcrumbs, sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Dredge each apple stick in the flour, dip into the egg mixture, then coat well with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Lightly spray the coated apple fries with nonstick spray. Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed).
  5. Air fry at 380°F (190°C) for 7–9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  6. Serve warm with caramel dip, yogurt, or whipped cream.

Notes

Best served warm. Pair with caramel sauce, yogurt, or whipped cream. Adds a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar for extra sweetness.
