- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: squeeze of lemon, pinch of cayenne, or Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- Pound to even thickness using a mallet or rolling pin.
- Lightly coat with olive oil.
- Mix garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub generously on both sides.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2–3 minutes.
- Place chicken breasts in air fryer basket without overlapping.
- Cook at 375°F for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure internal temp reaches 165°F.
- Let rest for 3–5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra juiciness, marinate or brine the chicken for 15–30 minutes before cooking. Don’t overcrowd the basket – airflow is key.
