Ingredients
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup warm milk (110°F)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons softened butter
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Stir in melted butter and egg. Gradually add flour and salt. Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
- Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread with butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll up tightly from the long side. Slice into 1.5-inch rolls (8–10 total).
- Optional: Let rolls rise again for 20–30 minutes on parchment paper.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Place 3–4 rolls at a time into basket. Cook 8–10 minutes until golden.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make icing. Drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the basket. Use parchment paper for easy cleanup and even cooking. Wait 5–7 minutes before icing to keep it from melting off.
