Ingredients
- Dill pickles (or any type of pickles)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil spray
Instructions
- Slice the pickles into thin rounds.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Beat the eggs in another bowl.
- Dip each pickle slice into the egg, then coat in the flour mixture.
- Place the coated pickles in a single layer in an air fryer basket and spray lightly with oil.
- Cook at 400°F (200°C) for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For best results, choose firm pickles and don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Experiment with seasonings and different types of pickles.
