A fun and tasty snack that offers crispy crunch without the extra oil, suitable for parties or quick treats.

Ingredients

  • Dill pickles (or any type of pickles)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil spray

Instructions

  1. Slice the pickles into thin rounds.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Beat the eggs in another bowl.
  4. Dip each pickle slice into the egg, then coat in the flour mixture.
  5. Place the coated pickles in a single layer in an air fryer basket and spray lightly with oil.
  6. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For best results, choose firm pickles and don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Experiment with seasonings and different types of pickles.
