Description

Air Fryer Fried Pickles are a crispy, crunchy, and delicious snack that’s quick and easy to make. Perfect for parties, game days, or just a fun treat, they deliver that satisfying fried texture with far less oil — a lighter, healthier twist on a classic favorite.

Ingredients

  • Dill pickles (or any preferred type)
  • Flour
  • Cornmeal
  • Eggs
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Slice pickles into chips.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, paprika, salt, and pepper. In a second bowl, beat eggs. In a third bowl, mix cornmeal and breadcrumbs.
  3. Dip each pickle slice into the flour mixture, then the eggs, and finally coat with the cornmeal mixture.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Arrange coated pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Serve warm with ranch, spicy mayo, or tangy dipping sauces. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat in the air fryer to restore crispiness. Slice pickles evenly and avoid overcrowding the basket for the best results. Try different pickles or add cheese to the coating for variety.
