Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef along with the chopped onion over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large baking dish, layer the diced potatoes on the bottom.
  4. Spread the browned beef and onions over the potatoes.
  5. In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth, and pour it over the meat and potatoes.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and any additional spices you like.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.
