Description

Healthy and delicious Banana Oatmeal Bars packed with fiber and nutrients, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 cup nut butter (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or nuts (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the rolled oats, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, nut butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Optionally, fold in chocolate chips or nuts for added flavor.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish and press down firmly.
  6. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for 4-5 days or freeze for up to three months. Use very ripe bananas for better sweetness.
