Tender and juicy beef brisket slow-cooked to perfection with minimal effort, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
- 3 to 5 pounds beef brisket
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt to taste
- Optional: carrots, potatoes, and other vegetables
Instructions
- Season the brisket with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Place the sliced onions and minced garlic in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Put the seasoned brisket on top of the onions and garlic.
- In a bowl, mix the beef broth, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Pour the mixture over the brisket.
- If desired, add carrots, potatoes, or your favorite vegetables around the brisket.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 480-600 minutes or high for 240-300 minutes.
- Once done, carefully remove the brisket and let it rest for about 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the brisket overnight. Avoid lifting the lid while cooking to preserve heat.
