Ingredients
- 1 lb seasoned ground beef
- 2 cups warm rice
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a Mexican blend)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup taco sauce
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup diced onions (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the seasoned ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Warm the rice in a separate pot or microwave.
- In a large tortilla, layer a portion of beef, rice, cheese, sour cream, taco sauce, onions, and cilantro.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
- Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- Serve warm, drizzled with extra taco sauce if desired.
Notes
For a crispy burrito, you can briefly pan-fry the rolled burrito in a skillet after assembling.
