Description

A comforting and hearty burrito filled with seasoned ground beef, warm rice, and melted cheese, perfect for busy weeknights or friendly gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb seasoned ground beef
  • 2 cups warm rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup taco sauce
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup diced onions (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the seasoned ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  2. Warm the rice in a separate pot or microwave.
  3. In a large tortilla, layer a portion of beef, rice, cheese, sour cream, taco sauce, onions, and cilantro.
  4. Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
  5. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with extra taco sauce if desired.

Notes

For a crispy burrito, you can briefly pan-fry the rolled burrito in a skillet after assembling.
