Ingredients
- 20 jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stuff each shell with the cheese mixture and place in a baking dish.
- Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding spinach or ground meat to the cheese mixture. Adjust spice level with red pepper flakes if desired.
