Description

A flavorful dish featuring tender and flaky cod topped with a crispy breadcrumb mixture, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the cod fillets in a baking dish and pour the butter mixture over them.
  4. In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the cod fillets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cod is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
