Description

A delightful and healthy dish featuring cod fillets baked with a tangy lemon butter sauce and topped with crispy breadcrumbs.


Ingredients

  • 4 cod fillets
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter and mix in the lemon juice.
  3. Place the cod fillets in a baking dish and drizzle with the lemon butter mixture.
  4. Season the cod with salt and pepper.
  5. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top of each fillet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes
