A quick and flavorful dinner featuring spicy chicken and a creamy sauce, perfect for weeknights.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 8 ounces pasta (penne or linguine)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook chicken until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Mix until everything is coated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve with chopped parsley on top.
Notes
For a milder version, reduce Cajun seasoning. Pat chicken dry for better spice adherence.
