Description

A delicious and satisfying meal combining the spicy kick of Cajun seasoning with creamy pasta.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 oz pasta (e.g., fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Parmesan cheese for serving


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken and season with Cajun seasoning. Cook until browned and fully cooked.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add bell peppers, onions, and garlic. Sauté until vegetables are tender.
  5. Add the heavy cream and chicken broth to the skillet, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, mixing until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Adjust the spice level by using more or less Cajun seasoning according to your taste. Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or mushrooms to enhance the dish.
