Description

A delicious mix of Cajun spices and creamy pasta, perfect for a quick family dinner.


Ingredients

  • Tender chicken breast
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)
  • Cream (heavy or half-and-half)
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Olive oil
  • Parmesan cheese (for serving)
  • Bell peppers (optional)
  • Onion (optional)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning and add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic, and if using, bell peppers and onion. Sauté until softened.
  4. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet along with the cream. Stir until combined and heated through.
  5. Toss in the cooked pasta and mix to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Add extra toppings like chopped parsley or more Parmesan for color and flavor. Pairs well with garlic bread or a salad.
