A delicious mix of Cajun spices and creamy pasta, perfect for a quick family dinner.
Ingredients
- Tender chicken breast
- Cajun seasoning
- Pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)
- Cream (heavy or half-and-half)
- Garlic (minced)
- Olive oil
- Parmesan cheese (for serving)
- Bell peppers (optional)
- Onion (optional)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning and add to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic, and if using, bell peppers and onion. Sauté until softened.
- Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet along with the cream. Stir until combined and heated through.
- Toss in the cooked pasta and mix to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
Notes
Add extra toppings like chopped parsley or more Parmesan for color and flavor. Pairs well with garlic bread or a salad.
