Description
A classic, creamy green bean casserole that is perfect for holiday meals and gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper
- 4 cups of cooked green beans
- 1 1/3 cups of French fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper until well mixed.
- Fold in the cooked green beans and 2/3 cup of the French fried onions.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
- Top with the remaining French fried onions and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the onions are golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
For a healthier version, use low-fat mushroom soup and reduce the amount of fried onions.
