Campbell’s Green Bean Casserole

Description

A classic, creamy green bean casserole that is perfect for holiday meals and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 4 cups of cooked green beans
  • 1 1/3 cups of French fried onions


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper until well mixed.
  3. Fold in the cooked green beans and 2/3 cup of the French fried onions.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes or until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
  6. Top with the remaining French fried onions and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the onions are golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

For a healthier version, use low-fat mushroom soup and reduce the amount of fried onions.
