Ingredients
- 10 cups freshly popped popcorn (about 1/2 cup kernels)
- 3 cups candy corn
- 1 bag (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Optional: 1/2 cup pretzels, peanuts, or mini M&M’s
- Optional: 1/4 cup melted white chocolate for drizzle
Instructions
- Pop the popcorn and place in a large greased mixing bowl, removing unpopped kernels.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth.
- Pour the melted mixture over the popcorn and fold together with a greased spatula until evenly coated.
- Quickly fold in candy corn and any optional mix-ins.
- Grease your hands with butter or cooking spray. Scoop portions and press firmly into balls.
- Place shaped balls on a parchment-lined tray to cool completely.
- Optional: drizzle with melted white chocolate before serving.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days, separating layers with wax paper.
Notes
Work quickly while the marshmallow mixture is warm and sticky. Coat hands with butter or spray to prevent sticking when shaping balls.
