Description

Candy Corn Popcorn Balls are a festive, nostalgic fall treat with the perfect balance of crunchy popcorn, gooey marshmallow, and sweet candy corn. Perfect for Halloween parties or autumn gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 10 cups freshly popped popcorn (about 1/2 cup kernels)
  • 3 cups candy corn
  • 1 bag (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup pretzels, peanuts, or mini M&M’s
  • Optional: 1/4 cup melted white chocolate for drizzle

Instructions

  1. Pop the popcorn and place in a large greased mixing bowl, removing unpopped kernels.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted mixture over the popcorn and fold together with a greased spatula until evenly coated.
  4. Quickly fold in candy corn and any optional mix-ins.
  5. Grease your hands with butter or cooking spray. Scoop portions and press firmly into balls.
  6. Place shaped balls on a parchment-lined tray to cool completely.
  7. Optional: drizzle with melted white chocolate before serving.
  8. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days, separating layers with wax paper.

Notes

Work quickly while the marshmallow mixture is warm and sticky. Coat hands with butter or spray to prevent sticking when shaping balls.
