A classic treat combining the sweetness of caramel with crunch from almonds and popcorn, perfect for parties and movie nights.
Ingredients
- 6 cups popped corn
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter. Stir until it comes to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the popped corn and almonds, stirring to coat evenly.
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven, allow to cool, break into pieces, and enjoy!
