Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the shredded cheese to the flour mixture and mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

For extra flavor, consider adding herbs or spices like garlic powder or Italian seasoning. This bread can be customized with different types of cheese or ingredients like bacon or jalapeños.
