Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 package of puff pastry or phyllo dough
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: herbs or spices for flavor


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry or phyllo dough and cut it into rectangles.
  3. In a bowl, mix the shredded cheese and diced ham. Season with salt, pepper, and any optional herbs/spices.
  4. Place a spoonful of the ham and cheese mixture on one end of each rectangle.
  5. Fold the pastry over to create a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
