- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (halal-certified)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of your favorite cheeses)
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional, for serving)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash the baby potatoes and cut them in half or quarters.
- Cut the smoked sausage into 1/4-inch thick rounds.

- In a large bowl, add the halved potatoes, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with half of the ranch seasoning mixture, tossing to coat well.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Place the seasoned potatoes on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Scatter the sliced smoked sausage over the potatoes.
- Roast in the oven for 35-40 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking, until the potatoes are golden brown and fork-tender.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over everything and return to the oven for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot, optionally with sour cream.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding chopped bell peppers or onions before roasting. Make sure to cut the potatoes evenly to ensure they cook at the same rate.
