Description

Soft and chewy cookies filled with tart cranberries, sweet white chocolate, and a hint of orange zest, perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract, egg, and orange zest until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
