A comforting dish combining tender chicken and rich, buttery noodles, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss with the sauce.
- Slice the chicken and serve on top of the buttery noodles, garnished with parsley.
Notes
Make sure the chicken is cooked through by checking that it is no longer pink in the middle. Consider adding a splash of cream for creamier noodles.
