Description
Delightful chocolate-covered yogurt clusters with strawberries for a healthier snack.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
- Begin by adding the chopped strawberries, plain Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract to a large bowl. Mix everything together thoroughly.
- Next, take scoops of the yogurt mixture (about 2 tablespoons each) and drop them onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet or a large plate to form the clusters.
- Once you have formed the clusters, place the baking sheet in the freezer. Let them freeze completely and become solid, which will take about 1 to 2 hours.
- After the yogurt clusters are frozen, it’s time to melt the chocolate. Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 15 to 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted.
- Remove the frozen yogurt clusters from the freezer. Carefully dip each one into the melted chocolate using a spoon to ensure they are coated thoroughly.
- Finally, put the clusters back in the freezer for a few minutes to help the chocolate harden and the yogurt solidify a bit. Enjoy your tasty treats!
Notes
Always use ripe strawberries for the best flavor. You can customize with different fruits or chocolate types.
