Description

Festive and delicious meatballs made with a sweet cranberry and barbecue sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef (or turkey), breadcrumbs, onion, parsley, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce and barbecue sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  7. Serve warm as appetizers.

Notes

For extra flavor, add spices like cumin or paprika. Use ground turkey for a healthier option. Double the sauce for a saucier dish.
