Description
Delightful truffles made from Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and coated in creamy white chocolate.
Ingredients
- 1 box of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (5 cakes)
- 8 ounces white chocolate or candy melts
- 3 tablespoons festive sprinkles
- 3 tablespoons red candy melts (for drizzling, optional)
- Green sanding sugar for decoration
Instructions
- Unwrap the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and place them in a large bowl.
- Mix the cakes together with a handheld mixer until a crumbly dough forms. Add the sprinkles and mix again.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop the dough and roll it into balls, placing each onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.
- Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Let excess chocolate drip off before returning to the baking sheet.
- Melt the red candy melts in a piping bag or ziplock bag in the microwave. Squeeze to drizzle over the truffles.
- Sprinkle on green sanding sugar and refrigerate for a few minutes to set. Enjoy!
Notes
Chill truffles before dipping in chocolate to help hold their shape. You can also add extra festive sprinkles or crushed candy canes for flavor.
