  • Author: urbanrecipes1gmail-com

  • Yield: 20 truffles
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Delightful truffles made from Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and coated in creamy white chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes (5 cakes)
  • 8 ounces white chocolate or candy melts
  • 3 tablespoons festive sprinkles
  • 3 tablespoons red candy melts (for drizzling, optional)
  • Green sanding sugar for decoration

Instructions

  1. Unwrap the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Mix the cakes together with a handheld mixer until a crumbly dough forms. Add the sprinkles and mix again.
  3. Using a tablespoon, scoop the dough and roll it into balls, placing each onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.
  5. Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Let excess chocolate drip off before returning to the baking sheet.
  6. Melt the red candy melts in a piping bag or ziplock bag in the microwave. Squeeze to drizzle over the truffles.
  7. Sprinkle on green sanding sugar and refrigerate for a few minutes to set. Enjoy!

Notes

Chill truffles before dipping in chocolate to help hold their shape. You can also add extra festive sprinkles or crushed candy canes for flavor.
