Description

Classic Peanut Butter Blossoms combine peanut butter’s rich flavor with the sweetness of chocolate, making them a nostalgic and irresistible treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar (lightly packed)
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar (additional for coating cookies)
  • 11 oz Bag of Hershey Kisses


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  2. Cream together the peanut butter, unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until well blended.
  3. Add in the egg, milk, and vanilla extract. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  4. Reduce the mixer speed and gradually add the dry mixture until blended.
  5. Chill the cookie dough for at least 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  7. Shape the cookie dough into 1-inch balls, roll in granulated sugar, and place 1 1/2 to 2 inches apart on the baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 7-8 minutes, then press a Hershey Kiss on each cookie and bake for an additional 2 minutes.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

Ensure butter is at room temperature for a smooth mixture. For extra flavor, try different types of chocolate kisses.
