Delicious ribeye steak topped with rich, creamy cowboy butter made with garlic, fresh herbs, and lemon juice.
Ingredients
- 2 ribeye steaks
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic, parsley, chives, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Cook the steaks in the skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Top the steaks with the cowboy butter and serve immediately.
Notes
Let the steaks come to room temperature before cooking for even cooking. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness if unsure.
