Ingredients
- 1 can crescent roll dough
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce or dried cranberries
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon orange zest or 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese, cranberry sauce, and sugar until smooth. Add orange zest or vanilla if desired.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles (or cut into squares if using a sheet).
- Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each piece, then fold corners over to seal.
- Brush with egg wash for shine and bake for 11–13 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving; the filling will be hot and creamy.
Notes
