Description

A festive, juicy turkey breast coated in a glossy cranberry-orange glaze that’s sweet, tangy, and savory perfect for small gatherings or holiday dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 bone-in turkey breast (25 lb)
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries (or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1/4 cup honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh rosemary and orange slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, zest, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes until cranberries burst and glaze thickens slightly. Stir often.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or acidity if needed. Let cool slightly.
  5. Pat turkey breast dry with paper towels. Rub with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  6. Place on a roasting rack in a pan and brush with glaze.
  7. Roast uncovered for 20 minutes per pound, basting with glaze every 30 minutes.
  8. When internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), remove and tent loosely with foil for 10–15 minutes.
  9. Slice and serve with remaining glaze drizzled on top.
  10. Garnish with fresh orange slices, cranberries, and rosemary sprigs.

Notes

You can prepare the glaze up to 3 days ahead and store it refrigerated. Baste regularly for the juiciest results. Perfect with mashed potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts, or herbed stuffing.
