Ingredients
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally or pound them to an even thickness. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes per side.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. Lower the heat, add butter, and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir to deglaze the skillet. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to heat through and coat the chicken with the creamy sauce.
Notes
Serve over pasta or rice for a complete meal. Can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
