Creamy Ranch Chicken Crock Pot

Description

A comforting slow-cooked chicken dish made creamy with ranch seasoning, cream cheese, and soup  the perfect cozy family meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth


Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
  3. Pour in the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth.
  4. Cut cream cheese into chunks and place on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  6. When done, shred the chicken and stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  7. If sauce is too thick, add a splash of broth or milk; if too thin, cook uncovered for 10–15 minutes.
  8. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or buttered noodles.

Notes

For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and low-sodium soup. Add cooked bacon bits or shredded cheddar for extra flavor.
