Description
A delicious and easy Crock Pot dish combining tender chicken with a creamy sauce, served over angel hair pasta. Perfect for busy weeknights!
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet Italian dressing mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 8 ounces angel hair pasta
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a Crock Pot.
- In a bowl, mix together the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
- Cut the cream cheese into chunks and place it on top of the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or on high for 240 minutes (4 hours) until the chicken is cooked through.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, prepare the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
- Once the chicken is done, shred it in the sauce and serve it over the cooked pasta.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add vegetables such as mushrooms or spinach. You can also use different types of soup for a unique twist.
