Description

A delicious and easy Crock Pot dish combining tender chicken with a creamy sauce, served over angel hair pasta. Perfect for busy weeknights!


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a Crock Pot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  3. Cut the cream cheese into chunks and place it on top of the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or on high for 240 minutes (4 hours) until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, prepare the angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
  6. Once the chicken is done, shred it in the sauce and serve it over the cooked pasta.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add vegetables such as mushrooms or spinach. You can also use different types of soup for a unique twist.
