Description
This Crock Pot Angel Chicken makes a creamy, simple meal with little work. It cooks while you handle other tasks and delivers tender chicken in a rich sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 packet Italian dressing mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 12 ounces angel hair pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- Mix Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth, then pour over chicken.
- Place cream cheese on top.
- Cook on LOW 6–8 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
- Cook angel hair pasta 30 minutes before serving.
- Shred cooked chicken into the sauce.
- Serve over pasta and garnish with parsley.
Notes
Use boneless chicken breasts for even cooking. Thicken sauce with a cornstarch slurry if needed. Add peas or spinach in the last 30 minutes for more veggies. Rotisserie chicken can be used for a faster version.
