A simple and delicious crock pot meal combining tender chicken, fluffy rice, and creamy flavors, perfect for busy days.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the rice, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
  5. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Make sure to use long-grain white rice for the best texture. For extra flavor, add your favorite spices or vegetables. If you want it spicier, consider adding diced jalapeños or cayenne pepper.
