Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix together the rice, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
