Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup sundried tomatoes (oil-packed, drained and chopped)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for garnish
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the Crock Pot.
- In a bowl, mix the sundried tomatoes, heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, serve the chicken over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
- Garnish with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the Chicken Broth and sundried tomato mixture for a few hours before cooking. If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last hour of cooking. Feel free to add vegetables such as spinach or mushrooms for additional nutrition.
