Easy-to-make, tender BBQ beef sandwiches perfect for busy days and casual gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 hamburger buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the sliced onion at the bottom of the Crockpot.
- Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper and place it on top of the onions.
- Pour the barbecue sauce over the beef.
- Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes or until the beef is tender and shreds easily.
- Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks and mix it with the sauce in the Crockpot.
- Serve the shredded beef on hamburger buns.
Notes
Best served warm. Feel free to add extra toppings like coleslaw or pickles.
