Description

Easy-to-make, tender BBQ beef sandwiches perfect for busy days and casual gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Place the sliced onion at the bottom of the Crockpot.
  2. Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper and place it on top of the onions.
  3. Pour the barbecue sauce over the beef.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 480 minutes or until the beef is tender and shreds easily.
  5. Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks and mix it with the sauce in the Crockpot.
  6. Serve the shredded beef on hamburger buns.

Notes

Best served warm. Feel free to add extra toppings like coleslaw or pickles.
