Description
Hearty and flavorful beef short ribs cooked slowly in a crockpot until tender and delicious.
Ingredients
- 3 lbs Beef short ribs
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 2 cups Beef broth
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1/2 cup Barbecue sauce
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 Carrots, chopped
- 2 Celery stalks, chopped
Instructions
- Season the beef short ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Layer the chopped onion, carrots, and celery in a slow cooker.
- Place the seasoned beef short ribs on top of the vegetables.
- Mix together beef broth, soy sauce, and barbecue sauce in a bowl. Pour the mixture over the ribs.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or until the meat is tender and falls off the bone.
- Serve the ribs with the cooking liquid and vegetables.
Notes
Brown the ribs first for extra flavor and adjust seasoning to taste. Feel free to add more vegetables or swap the barbecue sauce.
