Description

A simple yet delicious crockpot dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce mixed with pasta.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces pasta of choice (like penne or fettuccine)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  3. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
  5. Once the chicken is done, shred it in the crockpot and add the cooked pasta. Stir to combine and let it heat through.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding vegetables like spinach or broccoli during the last hour of cooking. Use whole wheat pasta for a healthier option.
