A creamy, comforting, and easy slow-cooker pasta dish featuring tender chicken, rich garlic-parmesan sauce, and perfectly coated pasta for a cozy family meal.
Ingredients
- 2–3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 jar (16 oz) garlic parmesan sauce
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz penne or rotini pasta
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Pour in the garlic parmesan sauce and chicken broth. Stir gently to coat the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours or until the chicken is tender enough to shred.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add cream cheese and Parmesan. Stir until the sauce becomes rich and smooth.
- Cook pasta in a separate pot until al dente. Drain and fold it gently into the crockpot mixture.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley or extra Parmesan on top for garnish, then serve and enjoy.
Notes
For best results, add dairy ingredients toward the end of cooking to keep the sauce smooth and creamy. Pair with garlic bread or salad for a complete meal.
