Description

A simple and delicious slow-cooked chicken dish with sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for busy days.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in the Crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the sauce and stir to coat. Serve garnished with green onions.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, cook uncovered for the last 30 minutes. Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli for a balanced meal.
