Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken in the Crockpot.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the sauce and stir to coat. Serve garnished with green onions.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, cook uncovered for the last 30 minutes. Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli for a balanced meal.
