Description

This versatile Crockpot Shredded Chicken is easy to prepare and packed with flavor, perfect for tacos, salads, or wraps.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: taco seasoning


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.
  3. Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper over the top.
  4. Optionally, add taco seasoning for extra flavor.
  5. Cover and cook on high for 240 minutes or low for 360-480 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  6. Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the juices.
  7. Serve in tacos, salads, wraps, or meal bowls as desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in spices overnight. Add vegetables for a one-pot meal. Cooking on low heat makes the chicken more tender.
