Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 2 cups rice or noodles
- Sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken.
- Add the broccoli and bell peppers on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-420 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the sauce and stir to combine.
- Serve the teriyaki chicken over cooked rice or noodles.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in teriyaki sauce for an hour before cooking. Feel free to add other vegetables such as carrots, snap peas, or mushrooms.
