A simple and delicious crockpot meal featuring tender chicken breasts cooked in a flavorful teriyaki sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 cups broccoli florets (optional)
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, chicken broth, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
- If using, add broccoli on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
For added flavor, let the chicken marinate in the teriyaki sauce for a few hours before cooking. You can use frozen chicken breasts directly in the crockpot; just increase the cooking time.
