Description

A simple and delicious crockpot meal featuring tender chicken breasts cooked in a flavorful teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (optional)
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, chicken broth, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. If using, add broccoli on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken and stir to combine with the sauce.
  7. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

For added flavor, let the chicken marinate in the teriyaki sauce for a few hours before cooking. You can use frozen chicken breasts directly in the crockpot; just increase the cooking time.
