A simple and comforting meal combining chicken, broccoli, and cheese in one pot, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine the chicken breasts, broccoli, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth.
- Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or high for 240 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the cheddar cheese and allow it to melt.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, cut the chicken into smaller pieces for even cooking. Fresh broccoli provides a better texture, but frozen is acceptable.
