A simple and comforting meal combining chicken, broccoli, and cheese in one pot, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the chicken breasts, broccoli, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth.
  2. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or high for 240 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the cheddar cheese and allow it to melt.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, cut the chicken into smaller pieces for even cooking. Fresh broccoli provides a better texture, but frozen is acceptable.
