A quick and satisfying one-pan meal combining tender chicken and flavorful egg noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese for serving
- Fresh parsley for garnishing
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add them to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions.
- Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the butter until melted.
- Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the noodles.
- Garnish with Parmesan cheese and parsley before serving. Enjoy your meal!
Notes
Feel free to add more veggies like peas or bell peppers for extra nutrients. This dish can be made creamy by adding heavy cream after cooking the noodles.
