Ingredients
- Pork chops
- Garlic
- Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil
- Fresh herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the pork chops to the pan and sear until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- In the last minute of cooking, add butter and minced garlic to the pan.
- Baste the pork chops with the garlic butter for extra flavor.
- Remove from heat and let rest before serving.
Notes
Make sure the skillet is hot before adding the pork chops. Use a meat thermometer to check if the pork chops are done (145°F/63°C). Let rest after cooking for juiciness.
