Description

A quick and easy recipe for tender pork chops seared in garlic butter.

Ingredients

  • Pork chops
  • Garlic
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the pork chops to the pan and sear until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. In the last minute of cooking, add butter and minced garlic to the pan.
  5. Baste the pork chops with the garlic butter for extra flavor.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest before serving.

Notes

Make sure the skillet is hot before adding the pork chops. Use a meat thermometer to check if the pork chops are done (145°F/63°C). Let rest after cooking for juiciness.
