Delicious and healthy Greek Turkey Meatballs with refreshing tzatziki, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cucumber, grated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through.
- To make the tzatziki, mix the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, olive oil, lemon juice, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Serve the meatballs warm with tzatziki on the side.
Notes
These meatballs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days. Freeze for longer storage.
