A fun twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, these roll-ups are perfect for kids and adults alike. Easy to make and customizable with your favorite ingredients.
Ingredients
- 6 slices of bread
- 1 cup thinly shredded cheese
- 6 thinly sliced ham (optional)
- 2 tbsp of butter
Instructions
- Trim the crust off the bread.
- Roll the bread flat using a rolling pin.
- Add the shredded cheese on top; you can also use American cheese. If you like, add ham too.
- Roll it up tightly. Use toothpicks if you need to hold it together.
- Heat a skillet to between medium and medium-low. Add the butter.
- Place the grilled cheese roll-ups in the pan.
- Cook for 5 to 8 minutes, turning them with tongs so they brown evenly.
- Remove them from the skillet and cut in half if you like. Serve!
Notes
Best served warm with your favorite dipping sauce like marinara, ketchup, or ranch. Can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
